Attribute Breakdown

Vigor (VIG)

Increases HP. Soft cap: 27 / Hard cap: 50. Every build should reach at least 27 Vigor by mid-game. 50 Vigor = ~1300 HP.

Attunement (ATT)

Increases FP and spell slots. Soft cap: 30 / Hard cap: 40. Essential for casters.

Endurance (END)

Increases Stamina and Equip Load. Soft cap: 40. Determines action chains and armor capacity. Aim for Medium Load (<70%).

Strength (STR)

Increases physical damage on STR-scaling weapons. Soft cap: 40 / Hard cap: 66 (two-handed). Two-handing gives 1.5x STR multiplier.

Dexterity (DEX)

Increases physical damage on DEX-scaling weapons and casting speed. Soft cap: 40 / Hard cap: 60-80.

Intelligence (INT)

Increases sorcery damage and INT-scaling weapon damage. Soft cap: 40 / Hard cap: 60.

Faith (FTH)

Increases miracle damage and FTH-scaling weapon damage. Soft cap: 40 / Hard cap: 60.

Luck (LCK)

Increases Bleed/Poison buildup and Item Discovery. Soft cap: 40 / Hard cap: 50. Essential for Hollow builds.
