🔥 Firecracker + Flame Vent (Aggressive) PvE
Slot 1: Shinobi Firecracker | Slot 2: Flame Vent | Slot 3: Loaded Axe
- Strategy: Firecracker stuns, Flame Vent deals fire damage, Axe breaks shields.
- Best Against: Most bosses, shielded enemies, red-eyed enemies (weak to fire).
- Upgrades: Spring-load Firecracker (faster), Okinaga's Flame Vent (wider), Sparking Axe (stun).
- Combat Art: Whirlwind Slash or Ichimonji Double.
- Tip: Firecrackers work on almost every boss. Keep them equipped at all times.
🛡️ Umbrella + Mist Raven (Defensive) Survival
Slot 1: Loaded Umbrella | Slot 2: Mist Raven | Slot 3: Shuriken
- Strategy: Umbrella blocks unblockables, Mist Raven teleports through attacks, Shuriken for range.
- Best Against: Terror enemies, Headless, Shichimen Warriors, Isshin Phase 3.
- Upgrades: Magnet Umbrella (projectile deflection), Aged Feather Mist Raven (follow-up attack).
- Combat Art: High Monk (counters sweeps) or Ashina Cross (quick damage).
- Tip: The Umbrella's "Projected Force" follow-up deals massive damage after blocking.
⚡ Shuriken + Chasing Slice (Speed) Mobility
Slot 1: Shuriken | Slot 2: Sabimaru | Slot 3: Finger Whistle
- Strategy: Shuriken + Chasing Slice closes distance instantly. Sabimaru poisons. Whistle stuns beasts.
- Best Against: Fast enemies, jumping enemies, groups of weak mobs.
- Upgrades: Gouging Top (multi-hit shuriken), Piercing Sabimaru (faster poison).
- Combat Art: Spiral Cloud Passage or Floating Passage.
- Tip: Chasing Slice after shuriken is one of the best gap-closers in the game.
🎯 Spear + Divine Abduction (Utility) Farming
Slot 1: Loaded Spear | Slot 2: Divine Abduction | Slot 3: Firecracker
- Strategy: Spear for pulling and range. Abduction for instant kills on weak enemies. Firecracker for stuns.
- Best Against: Mini-bosses, farming routes, Guardian Ape (spear trick).
- Upgrades: Corkscrew Spear (centipede pull), Golden Vortex (more sen from abduction).
- Combat Art: Mortal Draw (high damage) or Empowered Mortal Draw.
- Tip: Golden Vortex + Mibu Balloon of Wealth = massive sen farming.

Scrap Iron: Early upgrades. Scrap Magnetite: Mid upgrades. Lapis Lazuli: Final upgrades (only 6 per playthrough, choose wisely).
